Blue…the wide open sky, the ocean….ahhh. Blue is deep and reassuring. It soothes and settles. I remember seeing the first photographs of the earth from space as a child and seeing the awe inspiring blue calling me to the ocean. I moved from the flatlands of Nebraska to Boston/Cape Ann, where the ocean was deep and fierce. Now, I spend time gazing into the expansive blue skies of Colorado, feeling myself dissolve.
