The process of this painting I found amusing and a provided a good metaphor for life. The original painting chaotic; I had a hard time uniting the disparate parts, so I painted another one and though it was a little less chaotic, it still felt jangled. From that I found myself craving simplicity and rest. This painting came from that desire. I loved the way it made me feel…still inside.
